Margaret Farratell
I take my inspiration from nature and everyday objects. For me, the creation of mosaics
is the exploration from the seen to the unseen, the movement inherent in the spaces...There is something very gratifying
from the process of the creation of the design to the physical cutting and placing of each fragment...and then the final wipe of the
grout. I am largely self-taught as a mosaic artist, thanks to the many books and the Internet. I have a BFA from Kendall
College of Art and Design, with study in interior design.
